Inspired by Emily’s love of color and experimenting with the ways different hues relate to one another. Stacked saturated bands are outlined by thin playful lines of color.

Emily draws her inspiration from the emotional effects of color - especially JOY. She incorporates embroidery into her minimalist abstract paintings as a way to focus the eye and invite you to pause for a moment in a meditation on color.
