As a kid you might get a small present each night of Hanukkah, but that seems to dwindle as you get older. Wouldn’t it be fun to make a really special memory and give a grown-up gift every night?

The best part about all of these gifts is they are either made in the U.S. or ethically sourced from other places. As an artist, I appreciate every moment of getting to work for myself and create with my hands. I love supporting other people and companies making beauty by hand or collecting it from around the world in a respectful and sustainable way.

a. ‘Laurel Canyon Magenta,’ fine art print

This hi-resolution art print is based on an embroidery piece from my Lookout Mntn series. Tied to the magic and music of Laurel Canyon in its heyday, the multicolor line actually represents Laurel Canyon Blvd. from Sunset Blvd. to Mulholland. A gift that any hippie or California lover would adore.

b. ‘Gold Lion With Gold Parallel Lines,’ fine art print available in multiple sizes

Based on one of my original embroidered paintings, this print pops with the golden mustard yellow color that’s having its big moment on the internet right now.

c. Cinderose candle by Boy Smells

I have this one and I love it! I’m pretty selective when it comes to scents and this one is nice and subtle. It has a slight campfire vibe that’s so cozy this time of year, but the scent isn’t too smokey. And with a pink label, it had to be on my list.

d. Fringed Raffia Coaster Set from Leif

These light, fun coasters are woven by hand in Uganda and found in one of the cutest shops in Brooklyn.

e. Custom embroidered painting

Commission an original painting in their favorite colors. Like all beautiful things, this will be well worth the wait. Get in touch with the size and color palette you’re interested in giving and I’ll create a piece just them.

f. ‘Pale Pink With Dusty Rose Stripes,’ fine art print available in multiple sizes

Based on my original pastel pink embroidered painting, this one is a bestseller and a hit with little ones and grown-ups too. A pale neutral tone that suits any decor.

g. Moroccan Ceramic Cup from The Little Market

I have one of these too! (Yes, I’ve been doing a lot of pre-holiday shopping for myself). Mine is in the pink color and I’m obsessed with it. The black is so striking and a perfect gender-neutral modern spin. I drink my coffee out of this mug every morning.

h. The Pour Over by Jess Diab Studio (UPDATE: no longer available, but Object-Matter also makes beautiful pour over funnels)

Jess is one of my favorite interior designers… and happens to be one of my favorite ceramicists too. I love the super subtle color and the delicate speckles in her dinnerware. The Pour Over is a fun gift for people who love coffee and enjoy savoring the ritual.

P.S. If you’re one of those lucky kids like me who gets to celebrate Hanukkah and Christmas, these make great gifts for any holiday that brings you joy.

Happy Holidays of all kinds!
